Fire extinguishers

A fire extinguisher is a fire-fighting tool that is used to quickly extinguish or control a fire, usually in an emergency. Typically, a fire extinguisher is made up of a pressurised cylinder filled with a substance designed to extinguish fire. Fire extinguishers are designed with a size and weight that allows for them to be hand-held. The different types (determined by the substance within) are only suitable for certain types of fires and situations.
